After 3 movies of watching a human who is continuously hunted, but never gets shot, and a cyborg who is so good at killing, yet never manages to get his target, this pilot bores us with the silly reminders that no human is that good or lucky at avoiding death, and no cyborg is that bad a shot.

Agreed. And since the 3rd movie portrays John Connor as a man, the tension is removed from the action scenes here because we already know he is not killed as a boy. This series is pointless.

I made about 30 minutes of it and then cut it off. I agree. The Terminator was spraying bullets all over a parking lot and couldn't hit the kid.

Needless to say there is room for improvement. I had anticipated a bit more, but still it is too early to judge. Despite the few flaws in the show it has caught my attention. These days it seems harder to find a good show to get into. Finally there is something worth watching.

Um. you're a tool because the entire franchise is based on the premise that John Connor does survive past D-Day, and does become the leader of the resistance, hence them wanting to TERMINATE him. Retard.

The only problem with this series is what all time-travel sci-fi has a problem with... you know the end. Nothing, at all, can possibly change that, because it's already happened, just in the future. You're not watching the series to find out if they can keep D-day from happening, you're watching to find out how they got there, moron. How Skynet came into existance, and how they failed to stop it. I'm sure it will also reveal how the humans in the future overcome it. The last episode was about 75% based in the future.

And as for the terminator not being able to shoot a kid running in the open... That's pretty much how all action movies are, including the original terminators. You have trained professionals like police officers, who expend over 100 rounds of ammunition a day emptying a clip and missing from 15 feet away. That just does not happen IRL. But in movies and TV, it HAS TO or else there would be no action, and there would be a lot of really short movies. I'm surprised you haven't learned to deal with this aspect of entertainment yet. If i turned off every show that had trained professionals as worse shots than me I wouldn't be able to watch any action show.

Plus, half the time I'm watching the show saying 'OMG, she is so ----ing hot.' And as a fan of Firefly seeing Summer back in a Fox series is awesome, even if it's not the return of Firefly. (There was an orignal show full of just plain awesomeness that they need to bring back.)

... Headey is so hot... yum. Tank tops... yum. Running in tank tops... drools.
