EPA/SAMUEL GOLAYLavigne is the first artist featured in a show that puts performers in an intimate setting to perform and talk with Host Lynn Hoffman. Scheduled guests include the Goo Goo Dolls on July 29, Toby Keith on Aug. 5, Blues Traveler on Aug. 12 and Meat Loaf on Aug. 19.

A & E has launched “Private Sessions” with Hoffman, a private showcase with exclusive performances and conversations with the top names in entertainment - from rock ‘n’ roll to country and points in between.Lavigne sat down and talked about her influential or defining projects, and part of the interview Avril talked about landing a record deal and dropping out of High School at the age of 15.Monsters has the video performance: Watch the video here: AVRIL-VIDEO on A&E's new show Private Sessions. The show has artist performances and interviews and it airs Sunday Mornings at 9 am. Avril was the premier episode Sunday, July 22nd.
