Mission: Man Band chronicles the reinvention of the careers of former boy band idols, now men and looking to salvage and strengthen their musical careers.

In the upcoming episode to air Monday September 3 at 10:00 PM EDT on VH1, Kate's job is on the line when the band confronts her about forcing them not only to perform at the Orlando Magic half-time show before they felt ready, but also to relive the humiliation.

Later, using a combo of tomato tossing and presidential power, the guys create a unique music video. But, as they make fun of themselves, they worry that music producer BMC will feel a lack of commitment to the band.More drama erupts as Bryan's wife comes to visit and discovers the house full of scantily-clad back-up dancers, and the obvious conversations ensue about commitment.

In the premiere episode, the band arrived in Florida to Kirkpatrick’s lavish home.The man-band manager, Katie McNeil is all business. She knows the guys recognize that they’re being given an opportunity for a do-over.Kirkpatrick seems to be the only one who didn’t completely fetter away his pop star fortune. Though he does admit to self-medicating frequently.After the band Color Me Badd became old news, Okie Bryan Abrams spent a fair amount of time drinking. He eventually got a job stacking tires, got married and has a beautiful baby daughter and another baby on the way. His biggest battle is alcoholism.Jeff Timmons attributes his fall from fame to the declining interest in boy-bands. While former 98º singer, Nick Lachey went on to do a reality show and work on his solo act, Timmons has been trying to break into the business end of the music industry. I asked Jeff what he was most proud of in his past career. "I think performing on tracks with both Stevie Wonder and Mariah Carey were the most gratifying moments for me."And where will he take his experience and passion in music for the future, will it be performing, or producing? "I would like to put out one or two more solo CD's just to get the performance bug out of my system, then focus all of my energies into production. I just love music," saif Jeff.Massachusetts native Rich Cronin has been fighting Leukemia. He’s recovering now and ready to give the whole music thing another try.Christopher Kirkpatrick, best known as a founding member of NSync had some insight for us too. I asked Kirkpatrick, since Justin Timberlake is acting, producing and singing, Joey Fatone is dancing with the stars, what were some cross-over careers he may have an affinity for and was curious to pursue?"As for me the only crossover ideas I have would be to get behind the scenes and produce. I like working with new bands, they have such a great outlook on things. It's always fun to hear a new perspective on music. I have a studio in my house, so the more I learn and try to tech, the more fun it is!"
